Lupin can’t be stopped, as evidenced by the fact that everyone’s favorite thief is getting his 26th TV special in winter of 2019. While the title has yet to be revealed, Jun Kawagoe (Mazinkaiser SKL, Cyborg 009 vs. Devilman) is lined up to direct once again after previously helming 2003’s Great Operation: Return the Treasure special.
Takehito Hata (Detective Conan: Shinichi Kudo’s Written Challenge) is writing the special, with Hirotaka Marufuji (Aquarion Evol) serving as character designer and chief animation director and Yuji Ohno on music for the TMS Entertainment production.
