Cosplay fans! Do you know this event held every year in Japan called “The World Cosplay Summit”? This event has been running since 2003 and is sponsored by the Japanese television network Aichi TV. This year, cosplayers from 12 different countries joined in the fun.

Last weekend, a few of us from Otaku USA went out to the Jacob Javitz Center for the New York Anime Festival. Among other events, we held an informal cosplay contest, with the top five entrants receiving a free 1-year subscription to Otaku USA magazine.
Here we have more photos from Otaku USA’s cosplay contest at the New York Anime Festival. With around 100 quality entries, we’d like to show off as many photos as practically possible, and meanwhile, it’s been difficult to narrow down the finalists.
