It can be somewhat of a shaky world for new manga-related business ventures, but thankfully that hasn't deterred Manga Factory from emerging courtesy former Aurora, Deux and Luv Luv staffers.

Having split off from their Japanese parent company, they've created the fresh imprint as "an all-American manga publishing company owned & operated by the same people who brought you all of your favorite Deux, Aurora & Luv Luv books."

What makes this endeavor different from those prior is an increased focus on digital books for platforms like the Kindle and iPad. The first of these releases is volume one of Naoyuko Sakai and Hisao Tamaki's Teen Apocalypse: Guilstein.

Fans of some of Aurora and Deux's unfinished series—including Walkin' Butterfly and Kirepapa—shouldn't necessarily get their hopes up. While Manga Factory will indeed be selling remaining stock of Aurora, Deux and Luv Luv titles at the upcoming Anime Expo 2010, they haven't confirmed whether or not they'll be publishing the rest.

Best of luck to Manga Factory; now go buy some dang comics!
