The first order of business here is fairly straight forward. As revealed at Katsucon this past weekend, FUNimation has acquired the rights to the 1998 series
Trigun—based on Yasuhiro Nightow's manga of the same name—from Flying Dog, Inc.
The series will once again be available on DVD in Fall 2010.
Also revealed this past weekend were details of the English voice cast for Dragon Ball Z Kai, a more tightly edited production of DBZ that stays closer to creator Akira Toriyama's original creation.
Those hoping for more Kyle Hebert in narration might be disappointed, but new additions to the brawler's cast include Colleen Clinkenbeard as Gohan, Monica Rial as Bulma, Doc Morgan as Narrator, and Brina Palencia as Chiaotzu and Puar.
Part One of Kai hits DVD and Blu-ray on May 18, 2010.

Please. I'm begging you FUNimation. Take the time and effort to reboot trigun to the manga. It's already so great, but that would be glorious.

If they need to re-dub it, they need me to beat the original.
'Cause I produced it 10 years ago.

I never read the manga but I love anime it would be nice to see Trigun in a new form. DBZ got oild after watching it over 9000 times.

hopefully now funimation can reboot trigun to tell the story from the manga, instead of just rehashing the anime once again. i would very much be liking to see livio and the crimson nail in action

Does this mean Funi's redubbing it? I'd love to see that, but no one can beat the original.
And will DBZ never die! The intire series is driving me up a wall!
