Like a flurry of fireworks, Funimation let out a ton of license announcements at this past holiday weekend's Anime Expo. The shows in question come from all directions—from old Geneon properties all the way up to the new season of anime—and things show no sign of slowing from there.
Starting with the former, Funimation will be rescuing such shows as Ai Yori Aoshi, Armitage III, Texhnolyze, Haibane Renmei, Hellsing TV, Serial Experiments Lain, Tenchi in Tokyo, Tenchi Universe, and the Tenchi Muyo! OVAs and movies.
As for the far more up to date side of their catalog, Funimation will be simulcasting a bevy of shows. Sekirei ~Pure Engagement~, Legend of the Legendary Heroes, and Shi-ki—as well as Black Butler and Sengoku Basara's new seasons—will all be streaming along with or shortly after their broadcasts in Japan.
The licenses continue beyond that, with Funimation announcing A Certain Magical Index and its spinoff, A Certain Scientific Railgun; the Black Lagoon OVA, Roberta's Blood Trail; season two of Darker than Black; more Hellsing Ultimate; the Trigun: Badlands Rumble film; and the movie, OVA and second season of Shakugan no Shana.
If all this animated action isn't doin' it for you, Funimation has even licensed the live-action Moyashimon drama, which starts streaming on July 8.

Hello! This is Leon Davidson wanting to ask something. I just notice that funimation has licensed Railgun, Index, Shana 2, Shana S, and the Shana movie as well. I was wondering when these titles will be release? Also, what is the nearest date possible?
Thank You- Leon Davidson
