There's a brand new trailer out for Capcom's Super version of their popular brawler, and it features animation by GONZO, a studio known for its productivity despite inconsistent quality.

I personally thought the Studio 4ºC-animated endings for Street Fighter IV were incredibly lackluster, and this work by GONZO is looking better overall. Of course, it's just a trailer, but it is indeed a nice-looking one.

The majority of it focuses on new character Juri, and despite the lack of subtitles, I'm sure you can sense her x-treme power. Check out the video via the link below to see how she fares against some of Super Street Fighter IV's legendary roster. The question is, can she beat the cheap as hell Seth?

On the other hand, I saw some footage of SSFIV in action recently and I really like the gameplay additions. DeeJay, Cody, Guy, and Adon were among my top picks for returning characters, and certain characters REALLY needed new ultras.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Cody's original tshirt/jeans FF costume is the alternate this time around, and I really hope they don't do something dumb, like put him in diapers or dress him up as some other irrelevant character.

I know what you mean. I don't really think they ever do SF storytelling right, but I thought this worked okay as a general introduction to a new character. They should just concentrate on everyone beating the crap out of everyone else!

I think SF storytelling (for what it's worth) tends to work better when it portrays the separate but related stories of the entire cast, rather than trying to make everything revolve around a single villain. Thereby I wasn't too thrilled by the SFIV movie's Viper-centric plot and I'm not too impressed with this trailer.
