If you never got a chance to check out this quirky portable adventure—administered through bite-sized chunks of action—now's as good a time as any to pick it up. Heck, maybe it'll convince publisher XSEED to bring the follow-up to North America, as well.

I'll admit that I, too, slept on Half-Minute Hero (Yuusha 30) when it was first released for PSP over here last October. The different modes combined with an ever-dwindling clock and a charming aesthetic make it well worth mending past mistakes.

Fans of this formula rejoice, because Famitsu let the ol' sequel cat out of the bag recently. Hero 30 Second, while still focusing on quick-hit adventures under pressure of time, promises to offer even more exploration of its role-playing world.

The sequel's release is scheduled for November 4 in Japan. Go out and nab the original if you want a taste of something really unique on your PSP, and perhaps we'll be able to meet again on the half-minute battlefield in the US.
