Let Madhouse's Supernatural Anime Tease You

It may not hit Japanese home video until next year, but
Supernatural: The Animation is most definitely well on its way, as illustrated by the recently released teaser.
The 30+ seconds of teasing may not tell us anything we don't already know, but it should provide an ample visual taste of things to come. Based on the live-action WB series, Supernatural is animated by legendary studio Madhouse (Vampire Hunter D, Death Note), with direction by Shigeyuki Miya (Buzzer Beater) and Atsuko Ishizuka (Aoi Bungaku Series).
The 22-episode series is split between two separate boxes, which will be available on both Blu-ray and DVD in Japan. The first, containing episodes 1-12, hits shelves there on January 12, with the second coming on April 6.
The English dub will feature the voices of the original actors that play brothers Sam and Dean: Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, respectively. Check out the teaser embedded below:
