Meet Daisuke Ban in LA During the Nisei Week Festival

That's right, THE Daisuke Ban. Known most fondly for his role as Jiro in the '70s tokusatsu classic
Kikaida—though equally heroic and awesome in the lightning-powered superhero series
Inazuman—Ban will be making an appearance at the Nisei Week Festival in LA this month.
Anime Jungle (which you really need to go to if you live in the area and haven't already) made the announcement that Ban will be in Little Tokyo for the Festival on August 14 and 15. He'll be signing autographs, so be sure to bring your Generation Kikaida DVD collection with you if you go.
The festival itself runs from August 14 to August 22, giving you plenty of time to soak up the rest of the festivities after giving Ban a bold salute and a firm shake of the hand.
