It's entirely excusable if some of you out there are scratching your heads and asking "who?" when it comes to mention of Japanese pop rock outfit The Brilliant Green. After all, it's been a whopping eight years since their last album, which, factoring in Internet time, is like
so totally prehistoric.
The year was 2002 and I was a dapper young mensch when The Winter Album was released. While there have been peeps here and there from the group, their new album will mark a true full-length return.
Titled Blackout, the latest in their discography is set to hit shelves in Japan on September 15. A limited edition will also be available, including a DVD with three music videos and making of material related to each.
