Super Mario Galaxy 2 Gets New Trailer, Release Date

I literally said "oh boy" like a little kid when I saw this posted on pretty much every gaming site there is. I love me some
Super Mario Galaxy, and was immediately stoked when it was first announced that Nintendo would be making a direct sequel to the game on Wii. After all, it isn't often we're graced with this many entries in the Mario series proper in one generation.
Other than the emergence of a fresh trailer, Nintendo has also seen fit to slap a firm date on the game, which will hit store shelves on May 23, 2010. It won't be long after that Metroid: Other M drops, too, making an already busy year that much more wallet-busting.

Oh my god I'm so excited! I loved the first game and while I was obsessed and finished it in two months, knowing that there is a sequel makes me feel a lot better about myself. :)
