Yakuza Night Fever Kicks Off Tokyoscope Lecture Series

Mark your calendars for Friday, March 5, a notable night that kicks off the lecture series Tokyoscope: The Wild & Crazy World of Japanese Cult Films. As the title suggests, this series is hosted by none other than our mad EIC, Patrick Macias, and the first in the series covers those vicious yakuza flicks in all their gamblin' glory.
Yakuza Night Fever takes place at Viz Cinema inside the NEW PEOPLE store in San Francisco, and tickets to the event will run you ten bucks. This doesn't just net you access to the discussion, though. SEGA is also a sponsor for the evening, and they'll be appropriately demoing Yakuza 3 for the gangster hungry gathering.
