In case you missed the big news, Yen Press recently announced the transition of their operation to the digital space, launching an all new online-only magazine. Naturally, there are some new license announcements fresh out of San Diego Comic-Con to go with that brave venture.
The big one is Daisuke and Shoji Sato's Highschool of the Dead. Now folks looking forward to the Sentai Filmworks release of the anime (available streaming on The Anime Network) can get a taste of where it all started.
In addition to Highschool, Yen also announced the licensing of Betrayal Knows My Name, as well as the continuation of the Higurashi manga. The online future of Yen is looking pretty bright right now.
A subscription to Yen Plus can be had for fairly cheap. $2.99/month ain't bad at all, so give it a spin and support someone taking a step in a fresh direction.
