Yes, There's a Blue Exorcist Stage Play on the Way

Maybe at some point soon it'll actually be more surprising when a property isn't adapted into a stage play. From Code Geass to Persona, games, manga and anime hitting the theatrical circuit are popping up left and right, and the latest to join them is Kazue Kato's mega-hit Blue Exorcist.
While we don't have many more details outside of its existence, manga anthology Jump Square (home to the Blue Exorcist manga) has the stage adaptation set to run sometime in 2012.

Blue Exorcist has been the latest anime I've watched and I absolutely adore it! :D I wonder how they will manage to create a play :O It sounds really hard! They'd need a lot of special effects to make it work.

Oh my god!!!!! Oh. My. God. I am so excited for this. You have no idea. Here's to hoping I can find the DVD somewhere eventually even if it's in Japanese.
