A Peek at Toriko and One Piece in 3D

Whoa there, don’t get too jazzed. Unfortunately, nothing’s going to pop out at you even if you put on that pair of Real-D 3D glasses you kept after seeing Avatar last year, but hopefully this two-dimensional trailer will suffice in the meantime.

One Piece and Toriko are both hitting screens in 3D in Japan, a detail pretty much anyone could figure out after just seeing the video below. The great tell? Stuff flying out of the screen at your face!

Luffy and friends are looking a little too… videogame-y for my tastes, but Toriko’s world looks more or less the same. Have a gander and judge for yourself. The double-bill hits Japanese theaters on March 19, 2011.
