Berserk to Go Theatrical in 2011

Is it just me or has there been more Berserk animated news in the last year than ever before? After everyone clamored for more Berserk on TV for so long, it’s been hard not to take everything with a dash of skepticism, but here’s some more good news to snuff those dark thoughts.

Light is officially being shed on the previously revealed Berserk project in the February issue of Newtype. It turns out the project is kicking off with a theatrical film set to open in 2011. This will act as just the first part of an adaptation of the entire story of Kentarou Miura’s long-running manga series.

Are you ready for a lot more Berserk? I know I am.
