Chaos;Child Anime Set for January 2017

Let’s get chaotic.

Chaos;Child, the fourth entry in the Space Adventure visual novel series and sequel to Chaos;Head is set to get animeized, and today details of the airdate and director for the adaptation have been revealed.

Chaos;Child will be animated at Silver Link (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Anne Happy) and will be directed by Masato Jinbo, who helmed the last three Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya series and Shomin Sample at Silver Link.

The main cast includes Sumire Uesaka as Serika Onoe, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Takuru Miyashiro and Sarah Emi Bridcutt as Nono Kurusu. All three actors appeared in the original game.

The series will begin airing in January 2017.

Chaos;Child takes place in Shibuya, six years after an earthquake leveled the city, and follows a group of high school-aged survivors with superhuman powers.

The anime version of Chaos;Head was animated by Madhouse, while Steins;Gate was produced by White Fox, who are currently at work on Steins;Gate 0.
