TV anime Strike the Blood is scheduled to make its debut in Japan this October, and a trailer that premiered at Comic Market/Comiket 84 earlier this month recently made its way online via the official website.

Based on the school action fantasy light novel series by Gakuto Mikumo and featuring illustrations by Manyako, the SILVERLINK and CONNECT produced anime is being directed by Hideyo Yamamoto (The New Prince of Tennis). The story centers on Kojo Akatsuki—voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya, who also plays Junpei Hyuga in Kuroko’s Basketball—who happens to be the strongest vampire in the world. Risa Taneda (Yuyushiki‘s Yukari Hinata) plays heroine Yukina Himeragi.
