4D Screenings of 2016 Detective Conan Film to Include “Special Message”

The latest Detective Conan film comes out in Japan April 13, but before that, 2016’s Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare will be released in 4D. Viewers who attend the 4D screenings will get a special bonus—aside from the rocking seats and special odors, that is.

Screenings of The Darkest Nightmare will contain a “special message” for fans at the end of the film, according to a report out today accompanied by photos of someone in an adorable Conan mask, for some reason.

The special message will contain a message “from Toru Amuro,” the character also known as Rei Furuya and Bourbon. Viewers will also receive an original postcard signed by Amuro voice actor Toru Furuya.

Screenings begin February 10. We hope to see people with huge Conan heads in attendance.
