Lesbian Love Exhibition Canceled in Tokyo

Exhibition About Lesbian Love Canceled in TokyoAn exhibition centered around the theme of lesbian love, which was set to take place in Tokyo, has been canceled, it was reported yesterday.

Titled simply “Lesbian Love Exhibition,” the event was to take place at department store Ikebukuro Marui.

But retailer Village Vanguard canceled the event, stating “it would be difficult for all the participating artists to display and sell their goods.”

According to Tokyo Reporter, the controversy may be tied to an earlier exhibition about thighs, which was canceled due to concerns that some of the photos may have been of minors.

Village Vanguard is looking for an alternate location.

Outside of Tokyo, the exhibition is set to take place in Osaka and Fukuoka.
