Fate/Grand Order Gets Feature-Length Anime Special

There’s more Fate-based anime on the way, and next up is an adaptation of smartphone RPG Fate/Grand Order. This one is taking the form of a feature-length TV special titled Fate/Grand Order -First Order-, which is currently set for the end of the year.

Hitoshi Nanba (Heroman) is directing the adaptation, with Kinoko Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi credited with original story and character designs. Keisuke Goto (Yatterman Night) adapts those designs, while Ayumi Sekine (makuranodanshi) handles scripts for the Lay-duce (Classroom Crisis) production. 

Here’s the cast announced thus far:

Ritsuka Fujimaru – Nobunaga Shimazaki

Mashu Kirieraito  – Rie Takahashi

Fou – Ayako Kawasumi

Olga Marie Animusphere –  Madoka Yonezawa
Romani Archaman – Kenichi Suzumura
Lev Lainur Flauros – Tomokazu Sugita

The theme song will be “Color” by Maaya Sakamoto.
