Man, does this flick look beautiful or what? Director Makoto Shinkai (5 Centimeters Per Second, Voices of a Distant Star) looks to have really outdone himself with his latest effort, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and what was once only teased is now a full-blown trailer.

Mixing the real with the fantastic, Children Who Chase Lost Voices follows a young girl pulled deep into a hidden world thanks to the music from a crystal radio her father left as a memento. Check out the embedded video below to get an idea of what Shinkai‘s cookin’ up for us.
