FUNimation at Otakon: Casshern Sins

Those that have been hoping for a domestic release of the Madhouse-animated Casshern Sins got a blast of good news out of FUNimation’s presence at the Baltimore con, where they announced the acquisition of the 24-episode first season.

One of a few recent Tatsunoko Productions property revivals, Sins is directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi (also known for work on Blood +, Digimon and Dragon Ball Z). The two 12-episode sets of Casshern Sins will be released in fall of 2010.
