Gatchaman Goes Live-Action in Movie Teaser

The official site for the upcoming Gatchaman live-action film now has a teaser trailer for everyone to soak in. It’s not exactly full of superheroics, but it does offer a glimpse of the actors in costume.

The film is being directed by Toya Sato (Sexy Voice and Robo, Gokusen), with a script by Yūsuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Gantz) and character designs by Appleseed‘s Shinji Aramaki. The cast includes Tori Matsuzaka (Kamen Rider Decade) as team leader Ken, Gō Ayano as Jō, Ayame Gōriki as Jun, Tatsuomi Hamada as Jinpei, and Ryōhei Suzuki as Ryū.
