Get Ginpachi Gintama Glasses

Readers of this site are no strangers to anime-themed eyewear. We’ve previously seen frames based on series like Sword Art Online and K-On! (and even some Free! contact lenses). The latest addition to the trend is a pair of specs based on fan favorite Gintama.

The first flavor is a pair of sunglasses based on those worn by the series’ Hasegawa, who’s practically never seen without the things. They’ll retail for ¥8,640 (about $80).

The second pair is based on those worn by Sakata Gintoki doppelgänger Ginpachi-sensei and will go for ¥7,560.

Both pairs of Gintama specs will be released this August and be sold by Cospa.
