Ghost in the Shell Manga Released Digitally For the First Time

For a series about how vast and infinite the net is, this has sure taken a while.

But no matter: as of today, Kodansha Comics is offering up a whole mess of Ghost in the Shell in digital form for the first time ever in English.

That includes Masamune Shirow’s original Ghost in the Shell, his sequels Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface and Ghost in the Shell 1.5: Human-Error Processor, plus Yu Kinutani’s five-volume Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

All the books are available on platforms BookWalker, comiXology, iBooks, Kindle, Kobo and nook.

For those still into reading manga on paper, Kodansha has also announced it’ll be releasing deluxe hardcover editions of Shirow’s original Ghost in the Shell plus 1.5 and 2 in January with bonus content and Japanese sound effects.
