Girls und Panzer Anime Film Fires Up a New Promo

The wait has been a long one, but the Girls und Panzer anime film is now set to premiere in Japanese theaters on November 21. Series director Tsutomu Mizushima confirmed the feature’s release date at the 4th Kairaku Festa event at Oarai-cho in Ibaraki Prefecture, and a new promotional video followed shortly after.

Originally planned for a summer release, Girls und Panzer was delayed to add more scenes, pumping its runtime up from 90 to 120 minutes. TV series opening performer Choucho will sing the theme song for the film, as well.
