Have a Look at the Upcoming Appleseed XIII

Unsure whether or not to get pumped for the 13-episode retelling of Masamune Shirow’s Appleseed manga? Let the trailer below either heat you up or cool you down, depending on where you stand with the animation style.

It’s very similar in look, but not directly related to, Shinji Aramaki’s pair of Appleseed feature films. The project is set to debut in Japan simultaneously in theaters, online, and Blu-ray this June. The episodes will also be compiled into two feature-length films.
