Hobby Japan Reveals Mazinkaiser SKL OVA

Good news for fans of Mazinkaiser, and giant robot enthusiasts in general, comes out of the June issue of Hobby Japan. The magazine announced the return of the completely badass spin-off to Go Nagai’s legendary Mazinger Z.

Details are currently about as scant as could be. The only real information available is that the new original video animation project is called Mazinkaiser SKL. Still, the mere fact that Mazinkaiser is making a comeback after its 2001 series is certainly worthy of your personal method of jubilant expression.
