JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime Part 3 is a Go

After a handful of hints—including the addition of “To Be Continued…” titles to the second part’s finale on the Japanese Blu-ray—part 3 of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime has officially been confirmed. As announced in the new issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, the next leg of David Production’s continuing adaptation of Hirohiko Araki‘s sprawling manga has been green-lit.

The third phase, “Stardust Crusaders,” was previously adapted into two OVA series in 1993 and 2000. Some of the saga’s mainstays, such as the Stand alter-egos, were introduced in this arc, which is the only part of the manga to be released in English.

The “Stardust Crusaders” adaptation will see director Naokatsu Tsuda and series director Kenichi Suzuki returning, with Yasuko Kobayashi handling the scripts. Here’s a small look at the first key visual:
