If you stuck around past the end of the King’s Game anime finale, you were treated to a special tease. At the end of episode 12, “Demise (End/Grudge),” the cell phone novel-based series promised more with a “To Be Continued” message.
The original novel is no stranger to its own continuations, having inspired a slew of followups since its debut. We’ll have to wait for more info on what’s next for the anime.

Kanazawa Nobuaki has transferred to a high school far from where he used to live. Due to an incident at his old school, Nobuaki is afraid of getting close to his new classmates and keeps himself at a distance, but he starts opening up because of a sports day inter-class relay. Then, a single text message from someone calling themselves the “King” is sent to everyone in class.
