MAPPA Reveals Visual, Trailer for October Anime Vanishing Line

MAPPA, the animation studio behind series like Yuri on Ice and recent film In This Corner of the World has just revealed its latest series.

It’s called Vanishing Line, and it’s set to debut this October.

The sci-fi series is set in an advanced metropolis called Rasel City, and revolves around a conspiracy uncovered by lead character Sodo, played by Tomokazu Seki (Joker Game). Other characters include Sodo’s partner Riku (Nobunaga Shimazaki), heroine Sofie (Rie Kugimiya) and a mysterious woman named Gina (Ami Koshimizu). Character names are transliterations of the Japanese and may not reflect the final spellings.

The series is directed by Sunghoo Park with original characters by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki and designs by Tomohiro Kishi (91 Days). The music will be composed by MONACA (Wake Up, Girls!).
