More Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Details Emerge

Capcom continues to send out tasty tidbits one at a time, teasing all the fans that eagerly await the latest in their rowdy versus fighting series. The first of the two most recent revelations came in the form of what everyone really wants to know: roster details.

The latest four to be confirmed are Captain America and Deadpool from Marvel’s camp, and Felicia (Darkstalkers) and Dante (Devil May Cry) from Capcom’s. There are, of course, many more guesses floating around thanks to the taunting of Capcom’s silhouetted images, but this will have to do for now.

In addition, Capcom also rolled out some details on the gameplay yesterday. It looks like they’re going for a hybrid of the more accessible Tatsunoko vs. Capcom—which was released exclusively for Wii and reviewed in the pages of Otaku USA—and the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 style fans know and love.

This means that, even though new players won’t likely be as overwhelmed with the control scheme, some of the more complex maneuvers are still available (Hyper Combo cancels, Snapbacks, assists, etc.) for those more well-versed in the series.

That’s all fine and dandy, but I’m still over here dying to see the rest of the roster revealed!
