It takes a special figure to capture the essence of Ainz Ooal Gown from the Overlord light novels, and Furyu’s F:NEX brand totally nailed it. The latest in the line is a 1/7 scale figure of Ainz, standing at 320mm tall and priced at ¥25,272, which adds up to around $225.
So, what do you get for that sizable chunk of change? Aside from a high-quality sculpt, Ainz features Red LED lights in both his abdomen and his eyes, perfectly mimicking the style of Kugane Maruyama‘s dark fantasy protagonist. He also has his Staff, and those who pre-order through F:NEX’s online shop will get a limited Mask of Envy item as a bonus.
Pre-orders are set to run until December 24, and the figure itself is scheduled to ship next October. Check Ainz out in all his glory:
