Pokemon Go Gets Updated With More Than 80 New Pokemon

February 15, 2017 Feeling a little burnt out on Pokemon Go? Already caught ‘em all? Have you Pokemon… Stopped?
The latest update to the smartphone game might get you Going again: developer Niantic are adding more than 80 new Pokemon to the game.
The new Pokemon are all from generation two of the Pokemon franchise. That includes beasties from the Johto region of Pokemon Gold and Silver like Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, “as well as Pokemon with gender-specific variations,” reports Niantic.
In addition, the update will also include new evolutions, berries, avatars, and tweaks to encounter gameplay.
The update will be applied “later this week.”
