It’s officially time to usher in a new generation of catchin’ ’em all. Nintendo streamed a Pokémon Direct presentation this morning, finally revealing the first full-scale RPG entry in the series for consoles. Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will introduce Generation 8 when they launch on Switch later this year.
Set in the Galar region, Sword and Shield will let players choose between the Grass-type Grookey, the Fire-type Scorbunny, and the Water-type Sobble as their starters. Here’s how each of them look, respectively.
