Pop Out at the 3D Dot Game Heroes Trailer

Just like the formerly two-dimensional pixels in FromSoftware’s latest PS3 exclusive, your eyes may do a little bulge at what looks like a Zelda fan’s dream game. Yes, there are more than a few similarities here to Nintendo’s action/RPG staple, but 3D Dot Game Heroes looks like it takes that old school Japanese role-playing vibe on a different course of nostalgia.

Recently, this world of in-your-face voxels was given the trailer treatment, and I urge you all to give it a gander, because it looks like something really special. I’m particularly fond of that style that makes everything look like a miniature seen from a larger-than-life vantage point.
