Popular Anime Parodied on The Simpsons

The original The Tracey Ullman Show incarnation wasn’t the only alternate version of themselves the Simpsons family ran into in the latest annual Treehouse of Horror episode. In addition to Adventure Time, South Park, Archer, and other versions, The Simpsons showcased some popular anime in its clash of alternate marketing realities.

It’s more of a fleeting moment than the extended homage to Hayao Miyazaki’s films the show did earlier this year, but it’s a nice nod nonetheless. See The Simpsons mixed with the likes of Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Attack on Titan, Pokémon, and Ghibli’s Spirited Away in the clip below.
