Say what you will about Resident Evil‘s more action-oriented direction over recent years, the latest trailer for Resident Evil 6 certainly gets the blood pumpin”. Capcom showed off roughly five minutes of explosive gameplay during Microsoft’s E3 2012 press conference earlier today, and you can watch Leon S. Kennedy and his new partner Elena take on all kinds of zombies in it below.

Resident Evil 6 explodes onto PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 2, 2012.

The fact that Capcom already has DLC incoming should surprise no one, but it is interesting that the first set will make its debut exclusively on Xbox 360. Who’s excited for more of what we’ve seen so far in Resident Evil 6?
