Saintia ShoSaint Seiya: Saintia Sho, the Saint Seiya spinoff by Chimaki Kuori, is getting an anime adaptation. Now we’ve got the first look at the original net series, plus some cast and crew announcements.

We’ve learned today that Saintia Sho will be animated over at Gonzo and star:

Suzuko Mimori as Ursa Minor Xiaoling
Ayana Taketatsu as Cassiopeia Erda
Yukiko Morishita as Northern Crown Ketja
Rina Sato as Pavo Majura

The series will be directed by Masato Tamagawa and written by Ikuko Takahashi.

The whole thing kicks off December 10 on (Japanese, at least) Amazon Prime Video and Animax on PlayStation before hitting traditional airwaves December 24.

Seven Seas have licensed the manga for English release, and began publishing it in February. Here’s how they describe it:

In the wake of a space-wide civil war instigated by Saga–the Gemini Gold Saint–a new team of Saints comes together with the goal of protecting their goddess Athena. This first all-woman team of armored warriors, powered by the Zodiac, will use their cunning, strength, and compassion to defend their worlds and oppose their very destinies.
