Salia of J-Pop Unit Unicorn Table to Release Solo Pop Album this Summer!

Hello, everyone! As otaku I know you also listen to lots of J-pop music! Today I am proud to announce that my friend Salia of the J-pop Group Unicorn Table will release her first solo album this summer!

Salia has been a solo artist and also the vocalist for Unicorn Table. As a solo artist she has sung popular theme songs like “Cutie Honey Flash,” “Trust” from Vandread, and “Healing You” from Gaoranger! With Unicorn Table she sang “Fly away” from Jinki:Extend, many character songs from School Rumble, and had great success with their independent album INTO THE FUTURE, which featured “Heaven’s Door.”

This Summer Salia will release her first full length pop album and will attend events like Anime Mid-Atlantic and Jafax! Salia has been to the U.S. many times with Unicorn Table but this will be the first time by herself since her first U.S. appearance at Katsucon in 2006. She will release her first single “Trust in Me,” produced by Anom the Phenom, in May and release her same-titled full album in June. The album will be filled with bi-lingual pop, electronica, and dance music that everyone can enjoy. Please visit her site and hear a sample of her new song!
