The third 2016 issue of Jump SQ has a little treat for fans of Katsura Hoshino’s D.Gray-man. As previously reported, a new anime series is on the way, and while it features a fresh staff and cast, it’s considered a followup to the 2006 adaptation. Jump SQ has a nice look at the sequel’s lead, Allen Walker, as depicted in the new series.
We’ve already seen a brief preview of the anime in the first promo back in December, but you can get another look at Walker thanks to the Jump SQ preview below.
Ayumu Murase (Shoyo Hinata in Haikyu!!) is the new voice of Allen Walker, taking over for the previous anime’s Sanae Kobayashi. Another pin-up is on the way in February 10’s March issue of Animedia.
