Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii Gets Anime

Fans of shoujo fare have a new anime to look forward to this spring with the announcement of a Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii (Even So, The World is Beautiful) adaptation. Based on the manga by Dai Shiina, serialized in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine, the anime will air on TV in Japan this April.

The story centers on Nike, princess of the Rain Dukedom who has the power to control rainfall. Nike loses a game to her older sisters, who force her to marry Livius I. Livius, king of the Sun Country. From there the two eventually start to establish a bond despite their forced and contentious relationship.
