Soul Eater Not! Anime Adaptation Confirmed

Though hints and impending announcements pointed toward a soon-to-be-announced anime adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo’s Soul Eater Not! manga, we now have confirmation. Word comes from voice actress Chiaki Omigawa, who plays Soul Eater‘s Maka and brought up the adaptation on her “Yurutto Fuwatto” (Lax & Fluffy) radio program.

It’s likely that the official announcement is set for a reveal in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, which promised that an “important announcement” for the spin-off series is due in the January issue, which hits stands in Japan on December 12. Kadokawa also recently registered the souleaternot.tv domain name.

Omigawa didn’t reveal any further information on the adaptation during her radio show.
