Sad news went out earlier today with the announcement that household name and comic book legend Stan Lee has passed away at age 95. From his early days at Marvel co-creating some of the most iconic superheroes of all time to his later collaborations—including those in the anime and manga world—Stan Lee will most definitely be missed.
Among those anime creations were series such as Heroman and, more recently, The Reflection, which came about as a collaboration with Studio DEEN and director Hiroshi Nagahama (Mushishi). Lee also put his creative touch on manga, including a team-up with Shaman King‘s Hiroyuki Takei in the form of Karakuri Doji Ultimo.
Whether you know him for his unforgettable Marvel writing, his MCU cameos, post-Marvel creative endeavors, or another of the countless projects with which he was involved, Stan Lee left his mark. Here he is promoting The Reflection with his one-of-a-kind narration.
