Super Lovers Gets Second Season in 2017

Perhaps you were a fan of boys’ love series Super Lovers? And why not? It had all those classic boys’ love elements. Boys, for example. And… love.

Okay, so maybe I didn’t personally watch Super Lovers – but I’m happy to report to anyone who did that a second season is on the way in January 2017.

Super Lovers, season one, was the tale of super lovers and adopted brothers (gasp!) Haru and Ren and ran for a mere ten episodes between April and June of this year. The final episode aired just yesterday, when the good news about a second season was announced.

The series was directed by Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail) and script-supervised by Yoshiko Nakamura (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun) over at Studio Deen. Based on the popularity of the first series, they will likely be helming the new one as well.

They say January is a good month for super love…
