Otaku USA Magazine
The Latest Issue of ANIME USA is Now Available!

We here at Otaku USA magazine are proud to announce the arrival of another issue of Anime USA, the companion magazine with a pure, 100% focus on all-things anime. This marks the fourth special issue we’ve released, and it’s now available to purchase on newsstands, in print from our online store, and in digital format on iTunes Newsstand and other digital sellers.

In this issue alone we have features on a bunch of anime both new and classic, including Joseph Luster on the likes of Ace Attorney, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, and the comeback kids of Digimon Adventure tri. Beyond that we have Brittany Vincent taking a return trip to Gainax’s FLCL, which is gearing up for two new seasons after all these years. Daryl Surat risks it all to cover Kaiji, the ULTIMATE gambling anime, and Clarissa Graffeo goes on a wild ride with the Stand-wielding madness of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable!

The new issue of Anime USA also continues the magazine’s streak of collaborative features. If the growing trend of short-form anime has you excited, or even if you haven’t bothered checking one out yet, you’ll want to read our feature on Anime Shorts. From the statuesque wonders of Sekko Boys to the Trigger bad boys of Inferno Cop and Ninja Slayer, we’ve got more than a few reasons to give shorts a chance. You’ll also find us coming together for a full feature on anime studio BONES, digging into the likes of Cowboy Bebop: Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, My Hero Academia, and more. Hopefully you have as much fun reading these group efforts as we had putting them together. You can also look forward to mainstay columns like Arsenal, a fine selection of anime reviews, an interview with Osamu Tezuka scholar Frederik L. Schodt, and Otaku Top 5 picks from some of our contributors.
