Video Celebrates Aquarion Anime’s 10th Anniversary

Kamikaze Douga, which previously worked on the opening animation for shows like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Gatchaman Crowds, is helping to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Aquarion anime series. 25-year-old Yuuki Nakajima—whose Ranpa ninja short won the second prize PFF Award 2014 and the first prize in the Miyagi Sendai Animation Grand Prix 2015—directs the brief tribute to Aquarion.

The result is the 30-second “Aquarion x Kamikaze Douga Collaboration CM,” featuring the first 2005 anime’s opening theme, “Sousei no Aquarion” by AKINO.
