Your Name. Theme is Japan’s Most Popular Karaoke Anime Song

According to rankings released by DAM, Japan’s largest online karaoke service, RADWIMPS’ theme song to Makoto Shinkai’s your name. anime film is the new champion.

“Zenzenzense (movie ver.)” took the top spot from last year’s number one hit, Motohiro Hata’s “Himawari no Yakusoku” from Stand By Me, Doraemon. As a result, RADWIMPS has also been named The Most Popular Artist of the year.

This year, “Himawari no Yakusoku” came in second, while evergreen anime karaoke hit “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” from Neon Genesis Evangelion came in third.
