Get ready for the return of Zoids! Takara Tomy’s franchise is coming back to the world of TV anime for the first time in nearly 12 years with Zoids Wild. The series is currently planned for a summer 2018 debut on MBS in Japan.

Norihiko Sutoi (Pokémon Black and White) is lined up to direct the anime, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Digimon Adventure tri.) on series composition for the OLM production. There will also be a manga adaptation of Zoids Wild in Shogakukan’s Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine starting this April, as well as the requisite line of toys this June.
